Project Management

 
We offer project management services in respect of all types of building work, whether designed by ourselves or other professionals.

The aim of a project manager in this context is to oversee and manage a building project from start to finish, ready for handover to the client.


Project management typically involves the following:-

  • Review of all tender documents and preparation of full specification where required.
  • Sending documents out to a selected number of contractors for tendering.
  • Appointing a main contractor
  • Reviewing of all contract documents and agreeing contract with main building contractor.
  • Oversee building works, from start to finish. Site visits are usually undertaken twice a week and more frequently if required.
  • Approval of staged payments undertaken on a monthly basis.
  • Final inspection and snagging.
  • Approval of final payment and handover to client.
  • Re-inspection at the end of the defects liability period. Arrange final snagging with contractor and the release of retention monies once any final defects or snags are rectified.
We are also happy to undertake project management work for the purposes of building works or repair works undertaken to blocks of flats or commercial buildings.
